PROFILE OF JANE KENYON, MCIPD

Jane Kenyon is an HR practitioner living in Market Harborough. In 1992, Jane qualified with a HNC Merit in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, before migrating to pursue a career in Human Resources. Jane became IPD qualified in 1999 at Leicester’s DeMontfort University and currently holds an MCIPD.

Jane’s career to date has seen her employed by reputable Blue Chip companies, until more recently Jane went into partnership and created the HR outsourcing company Adding2it Ltd.

  • HR Advisor, responsible for UK, Ireland and the Netherlands – supporting Sales personnel. HR support and Training was the main focal areas.

  • Personnel Partner, responsible for UK and Ireland – supporting Customer Service personnel. Main responsibilities included re-organisations, writing and running Assessment Centres, writing and delivering training programs and developing a Reward and Recognition policy and program.

  • HR Manager employed for a subsidiary company, Legal and Financial Needs Ltd – supporting Financial Services in Northampton. Main focus to develop and devise a HR department. This included the development and implementation of HR Policies and Procedures and recruitment of personnel for the business start-up.

  • HR Advisor, responsible for UK and Ireland – supporting Sales, Trade Counters and Marketing. Responsible for providing a day-to-day HR activities focusing on Performance Management, Reward and Recognition. Training for Sales and Trade Counter Managers in HR topics such as Disciplinary, Recruitment, Communications and Stress.
  • HR Project Advisor – implementing an Absence Management program into UK Sales and training on the Absence policies.
  • Change Manager – UK Sales. Developing Change Management programs for Sales personnel for use with their Sales system and later with the implementation of SAP.
